Horses Healing Humans and Humans Helping Horses
Equine-assisted Therapy and Horse Rescue

Horses Healing Humans programs are designed for participants of all ages. This program is designed to help special needs people, including those with ADD, ADHD, Autism, Multiple Sclerosis, Depression, and Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTS).  Equine-assisted therapy is a mystery but we know that the horses help people work through sadness, grief, fear, and uncertainty, teaching us to respect boundaries and develop self control.

Being first is possible on a horse! Muscle movement is easier and fun when you are on a horse! The horse builds self confidence and independence with each individual. Every horse is different and so is every person.  Equine assisted riding is designed to enhance self esteem, improve focus and have fun too.
Herd dynamics and individual recognition and understanding leadership styles fosters a deeper understanding of self.

The Horse is the Teacher!

Respect for self, peers and animals are natural results from learning decision making, improved self-esteem and better communication skills - all outcomes from a positive, unique experience with horses.

SELF ESTEEM - INDEPENDENCE

Every horse is different. Every person is different. Self confidence building, self esteem, safety awareness improve our ability to communicate and carry over into our everyday lives; at home, at school, and at work.
